COACHING PHILOSOPHY: ( "Make sense when coaching"& "Keep it Simple")

To promote an interest in volleyball among my players (& parents) and to develop the skills necessary for these young athletes to play volleyball competitively at the next level. To teach the fundamental skills and techniques of the sport to each athlete. To provide feedback to each player either verbal or written at each practice, scrimmage and games. To help my players focus upon the importance of setting goals (both team & individual) and working hard toward achievement of those goals. To enables my players to achieve levels of high performance that he or she may not have thought feasible through goal setting, motivation and skill preparation. I place a strong emphasis on helping these players develop a sense of teamwork and cooperation and by making each athlete feel that they fill an important role on their team. Maybe most important of all I will provide a positive model for good sportsmanship and teamwork.
