COACHING PHILOSOPHY: We, at Brandywine Volleyball Club don't just teach volleyball, we teach people who play volleyball.

I think one of my strong points as a coach is that I can assess my teams talents and work on highlighting those strong points and make the coaching adjustments necessary to make the team successful, while still working on individual goals. I see too many coaches that coach the same way year after year regardless of whether that team can execute those skills or not. Volleyball is a game of constant adjustments and learning and I pride myself in those areas. I have also stressed the advancement of individual skills as well as team skills. Working to improve each player individually and then helping them bring that to the team. I think I have made each player feel that they have an important role on the team, whether that role is big or small. I also believe in discipline at practice and that each girl is there for a reason and the reason is to improve. If we don't work hard at practice and work on specific goals each week then we will not be able to improve at the rate that we would like to. If the player doesn't grow - then the team doesn't grow. I also am looking to give my teams the best possible club experience and challenge them by competing at the highest level possible. Whether that means traveling to high level tournaments or even competing in tournaments that are higher than the age level we are registered in.
