To an Amazing Coach
by Finn
You cheered, you screamed,
You made us laugh, you fostered our dreams,
You took the time to believe in us,
You earned our respect, friendship and trust.
You knew what to say to inspire and excite,
You shared our glory and praised what was right,
You taught us confidence and how to be strong,
Tactfully critiqued us when things went wrong.
You understood our fervor and frustration,
Your leadership procured our relentless admiration,
And even when spirits were quenched by defeat,
You devotedly pulled us back up on our feet.
In our budding lives, the part you have
played,
Will outshine all the serves, sets and hits made,
For your eternally enthusiastic approach,
Thank you so much for all youve done, Coach!

I dream of being the best
You dream of being better then me
I say....DREAM ON
If you say I can't you won't
If you say I quit you lose
If you say Ill try my best you'll never be a loser

Passion
L ook at any person who is a
recognized leader in any field of endeavor and you will see passion. Passion makes things
happen which would otherwise be considered impossible. Passion overcomes obstacles which
long ago would have stopped mere interest or resolve.
Those who are passionate about what they do have an
advantage that is nearly impossible to overcome. In passion there is energy, creativity,
resilience and persistence. Passion will get it done.
There is something about which you are passionate. Find
it, understand it, and connect it with what you are doing. Put the power of passion behind
the things you do. Live and act in harmony with a purpose that touches your soul. Go
beyond being inspired. Go beyond being merely motivated. Get really passionate and fulfill
your greatest possibilities.
-- Ralph Marston

one."
